Opening times, term dates, funding & pricing

Willerby & Kirk Ella Preschool is open each weekday morning in term time.

3 hour session: 8.50am - 11.50am.

4 hour session (includes parent-provided packed lunch): 8.50am - 12.50pm.

The preschool is open an average of 38 weeks in the year, following the local school term dates. The 2026/27 term dates are below:

Autumn Term 2026

Opens Mon 7th Sept - Closes Fri 23rd Oct

Opens Mon 2nd Nov - Closes Fri 11th Dec

Spring Term 2027

Opens Mon 4th Jan - Closes Fri 5th Feb

Opens Mon 15th Feb - Closes Fri 19th March

Summer Term 2027

Opens Mon 5th April - Closes Fri 28th May

Closed Mon 3rd May - Bank Holiday

Opens Mon 7th June - Closes Fri 16th July

The Preschool accepts Govt. funded free entitlement hours for 2, 3, & 4 year olds.

The Preschool currently charges £9.00 per hour for private paid hours.

3 hour session: £27.00

4 hour session: £36.00

An invoice will be issued at the start of each term.

Please be aware that these fees are subject to annual review.

The Preschool accepts payments made through Govt. Tax-Free Childcare accounts.
